Cording Camp Week 6: Adding Your Cording
The final piece to the cording puzzle - sewing on your cording for that shop-style finish!
We’ve made it, campers—final week! 🎉 Over the past month, you’ve picked up every trick in the book for making cording:
In Week 1, we learned how to make cording using a Lacis, Kreinik, or the trusty drill + hook.
Week 2 was all about sizing your cording so it’s perfectly proportioned.
Week 3 took us into color selection, from bold pops to seamless blends.
Week 4 brought in texture and shine, with fibers that add instant flair (and those surprise goodie bags!).
And in Week 5, we got fancy with beads—because why not add a little sparkle?
Now it’s time for the big Parent Trap moment—the one where Hallie and Annie push the picture halves together and suddenly realize they’re sisters. This week is all about adding the cording and seeing how your finishing finally comes together into one perfect piece.
(P.S. There are still a few texture + shine goodie bags left in the shop—so if you haven’t grabbed yours yet, head to the bottom of the homework to snag one before they’re gone!)
Got Cording Questions?
Drop your questions in the comments (or in the club chat) and I’ll work them into future lessons + posts.
No question is too small — if you’ve wondered it, chances are someone else has too!
